जपाकुसुम संकाशं काश्यपेयं महदद्युतिम् – तमोरिंसर्वपापघ्नं प्रणतोSस्मि दिवाकरम् ||

One who looks like the Hibiscus flower, Son of Kashyapa, full of radiance, Foe of darkness and the one who dispels all sins – I bow down to that Sun.

Sun is the karaka of Giving things – Sun never asked anything from anyone – it is self illuminating – Just like that soul which is enlightened from its own awareness { or you can say self awareness }and it doesn’t need anyone’s validation or anything from anyone. 

And this is the major character of Sun – that surya doesn’t need anything from anyone but everyone needs surya to bring balance and light in their life. 

Sun exalted in 1st house – This is the seat of king – but there is another reason for surya to get exalted in 1st house and that is 12th from it is Natural house of giving [ 12th house ]

Donor is always bigger than the one who takes things !!

Sun only activates the 7th house from it when it donate things in the house which is 12th from it. And 7th house from any house lies the power of that house. So the only way to energize your Sun is to donate in the house which is 12th from surya.

Now let’s begin with each house analysis by putting sun in each house:

Suppose Sun is in the 1st house:

This is throne of King “ 1st house “ where king got exalted – when sun got exalted native must never be depend upon others -because others are dependent on him [ on this native ]

Now the health of this sun { sun in lagna } depends upon the health of the 12th house. Why is that ? The 12th house is the house of self- reliant, self sustained – self – sufficient.

Unless and until Sun in Ascendant doesn’t have a good 12th house { self reliant } how can he donate things from the 12th house. And if he doesn’t donate things from the 12th house then the 7th house will create issues { other people / marriage } will start shaking. 

Because that was the karma of surya in lagan to give things – and you can only give things to someone when you’re self sustained or when you’re self reliant – self sufficient. 

When this sun in the 1st house creates issues ?

When you’re not working on improving your 12th house and when you’re not donating things according to the sign – planet – Nakshatra falls in the 12th house of your birth chart.

 You can only donate things from the 12th house when your 12th house is good – if you live life depending upon someone else when the sun is in the 1st house then how can you donate things ?

Native must be Independent about the house which is 12th from surya.

Suppose Venus goes to the 12th house – when Sun in lagan >> Native donate things to Temple of Devi or person has to give things related to sign venus is in to the spouse. you can alter the significance as a planet or sign changes in your 12th house when the sun is placed in the 1st house.

Another side of 12th house is Meditation: When sun gets exalted in first house – Native must do meditation because now soul is at controlling position as sun goes in 1st house >> and soul can only be in controlling position when you’re connected with your inner-self {{{ Meditation }} not to outer self.

The 12th house is not loss 12th house is finding or connected with your inner self.

Suppose Sun goes in 2nd house:

When the sun connects with Venus ruled house { 2nd house – 7th house } there is some sort of issue comes in Venus : either people pleasing or completely self-sacrifice. 

When sun comes in 2nd house now native has to donate himself [ as 12th from 2nd house is 1st house ] now either native sacrifice or donate his lagna by self sacrifice or by people pleasing and forget what he want in life – because now native is very occupied in people pleasing others –

Now the question is who you’re sacrificing yourself to ?

Does the other person have a good Mars or does the other person have a good Ketu ?

If the person you’re sacrificing or donating your lagna for { 12th from sun in this example ] have afflicted Mars or ketu in their birth chart then be super sure that person will destroy your respect and destroy your efforts.

Even when surya goes to the taurus [ 2nd house ] the festivals in vedic system is also about sacrificing of lagan – In the month of Jyestha.

The 10th day of Krishna paksha: Apara Ekadashi is a day for devotional fasting.

Amavasya, Dark Moon: Shani Jayanti: Lord Saturn’s Birthday.  Savitri Vrat: observed by married women who pray for their husbands to live a long life. Savitri is the wife who petitioned Yamaraj to spare her husband and he did. Savitri sacrifices herself for her husband.

When sun goes in 3rd house : Donate things from 2nd house [ 12th from 3rd house ] 

When the sun comes in the 3rd house now Native is supposed to become someone who is very highly respected in society [ respect is 2nd house ]  why ?

Because sun in 3rd house native knows deep secrets knowledge which very few people knows but those secrets will comes to native or native will learn those [7th from 3rd is 9th house ] when native keep donating food [ 12th from 3rd house is 2nd house ] 

The 2nd house is also the power of keeping quiet – 2nd house is your sperm bank – 2nd house shows your control over your senses. 

When the sun in 3rd house and Native doesn’t have any control over his sense [ weak 2nd house ] then sun in 3rd will bring downfall to the Native.

When the sun in 3rd house – Native should donate Rahu related things – or to Rahu type people then this Sun in 3rd house grow and shine a lot and through this 9th house which is 7th from sun 3rd house grow a lot.

As we know that when the sun goes into the 3rd house the power is in how much control over sense is [ 2nd house ] or you can say how much well you keep the 2nd house – because here you need to demonstrate your control over sense.

Because when sun goes in the 3rd house it is the month of Ashada – where Vishawadeva comes who unleashes Rudra to cut off the head of Brahma because Brahma loses control over his senses. [  2nd house ].

When sun goes in 4th house : Donate things from 3rd house [ 12th house from 4th house ]  Let’s talk about in brief 

When sun goes in 4th house – here you’re supposed to Donate things from 3rd house – but before that you need to strengthen your 3rd house obviously only that person can donate who is self sufficient [[ we’ve discussed earlier ]] 

Here you’re supposed to be self-sufficient in the matter of the 3rd house only then you can donate things from the 3rd house. Donate your ego when the sun comes in 4th house.

This statement is very surface. The real crux of the 3rd house is Ego of Native which he harbors in its 3rd house. [ which is 12th from 4th house ] , and when sun comes in 4th house Father is now under the control of Mother – or you can say Father need to lay down and let go his ego when Sun comes in 4th house 

When the sun comes in the 4th house in the month of Shravana – and we all know the story of Vamana avatar when Shri vishnu gobbles up the ego of King Bali in three steps.  When sun comes in 4th house – and Native doesn’t let go ego from 3rd house – or don’t donate things from 3rd house then Venus take the hit of this ego – and marriage also disturbs here.

The only solution here is Keep Rahu in check and keep Venus also in check by donating things from 3rd house of whatever the planet – sign – Nakshatra falls in 3rd house of your birth chart.

When the sun goes in the 5th house In the month of Bhadra : king comes at home – Leo – and 12th from 5th house is 4th house 

When the sun comes in 5th house –  here is the donation of peace [ 4th house ] here donation of purity – donation of absolute clean character – as 4th house is character. 

When the sun comes into the 5th house people will come to you to ask for peace from you – and you’re supposed to give them peace – and you can only give peace to them by your Ketu and venus is good – that means your 4th house is good or you can say when your Anahata chakra is clean. Because people bring their darkness to these people and ask for light from them

Here people want to trust you – are you trustworthy ? you can only be truth worthy when you tell them what your 4th house is. 

4th house Anahata charka. And anahata charka is ruled by two planets one is ketu and another is Venus. 

And you can only give light to others when you – yourself is illuminated – here illuminated means having clarity in life – that’s why this is the month of Bhadra.

And the main festival that we celebrate here is – Aja Ekadasi: This is the most beneficial Ekadashi of the year. With devoted worship and fasting all sin of the past is eradicated. King Harishchandra story also comes here who always speak truth [ 4th house significance ] 

We also celebrate Ganesha Chaturthi: 10 day festival marking the birth day of Lord Ganesha. It begins on the 4th day of the month of Bhadrapada. We brought Idol of ganesha in our home [ 4th house ] 

On the first day of the festival we do a ritual to put spirit into the Idol and then pay tribute in different ways. Read hymns from Ganesha Upanishad, offer sandalwood, red & yellow flowers. On the last day of the festival, Ganesha Visarjan, the idol is immersed in the water to signify his journey back home to Mount Kailas.

That’s the same story happen in all the house  – suppose Sun goes in 10th house – now you’re supposed to donate to your Guru [ 9th house – which is 12th from 10th house ] 

What did Raja Ram did ? [ sun in 10th house ]

He gave all his power of sun to protect the 9th house – to guru and also to protect the dignity of his Father again [ 12th from 10th house is 9th house ]. From protecting Rishi Vishwamitra to protecting the honour of his father – 9th house – Only then Raja raam became Raja Ram.

Also if you want to take another example of Sun in 8th house – here in the month of Kartik- we celebrate Chath puja on the 6th day of Kartik month- here females do worship for her husband or for their long life – because 12th from 8th house is 7th house. [ 7th house is the house of spouse ] 

We also celebrate another festival which is about the 7th house that is Karwa chauth. When the sun goes in the 8th house in the month of Kartik. We know the story of karwa chauth.

Where the spouse [ female ] keeps fast to increase the age and well being of Her husband – as sun just came out from debilitation in this month – in the Month of kritika 

Testosterone sperm and male puberty come to the forefront in Krittika. Venus is Shukracharya in command of sperm [[  again this is for improving 7th house as 7th house is lagna of spouse – health of spouse  ]] Here the female gave some portion of her punya to keep her other half healthy by keeping fast.
