Why breakups and divorces happening at such a pace ?  Marriage lasts barely a few months, and in some rare cases, it's just a matter of a week. But why?

Does planet shift or combination give some different result as they were giving 50 years ago or 100 years ago, or if you go 200 years ago or 300 years ago, at those times when marriage happened, both couples took oath to be with each other for the next 7 lifetimes? Then what happens now?  Now the couple barely stay with each other for 7 months!!
